My personal Makeup must haves

Image
When it comes to doing make up i am far from being a pro, but i really do enjoy trying new products. Recently I've found some great products that have literally changed my game plan!  Since having my daughter 5 years ago my eye brows have just decided to become basically non  existent! Which really started to bring me down, seeing so many beautiful brows on other people made me jealous ( stupid you may thing but brows just make your face complete ) So whilst out shopping and searching for my saviour i came across the holy grail!!  Eylure brow stencils!! and blow me down they have changed my life, these stencils come in a pack of 4 reusable arched styles. ranging from slim arch to full arch. It's taken me a while to perfect it but i really feel like a new person for using them and at only £4.95 a pack well a complete bargain! I paired this with the makeup revolution duo brow definer, which come in kind of a crayon form, its double ended with one end being a br

Childs Farm review

Image
When is comes to skin care and bath/shower for my children i always like things that keep there skin soft and defiantly does not irritate them. When they where little all three of them suffered with dry skin, which was rather horrible at times, in the winter my daughter still get dry patches now which can cause her some irritation. I find that cheaper products really don't do anything for there soft child skin, even some big brands don't last long keeping there skin dry free so trying different products to find the one that's just right has been a task and a half. The lovely people over at child's farm kindly sent us some products to try. We've been using them for a few weeks now and i'm rather impressed, my daughters dry skin seems to have cleared right up. The products:  We have two hair and body washes, and a 3 in 1 swim, firstly the designs on there packaging is brilliant! the bright coloured bottles, the funky styled pictures. Branding is perf

A letter to my children.

Image
A letter to my children, To you who showed me what love really is, who made my heart grow three times the size it was. You've grown me into the women i am today, the love have have for the three of you is like no other. You fill my world with chaos, but i wouldn't want it any other way. When i held you in my arms, i knew i would give my last breath for you, to promise to protect you for always. To cuddle you when your happy or sad, to play silly games with. You my darlings are my sunshine in the darkest of days, you give me a reason to wake up. My bond with you each is different, we all love to do different things. Yet those family days we have filled with memories can not be beat.  I'm so proud of you all, the humans you have grown in to You all have your off days but that's just life. I'm proud of me too for doing my best for you all, don't change my darlings.  Always be proud of what you achieve, always be yourself, stand up for what you believe

Why i started blogging again.

I use to do beauty blogging, when the boys was small. Something i really enjoyed doing and i was lucky enough to work with so lovely cosmetic brands, to which i always gave honest reviews on the products that they sent me. One thing always stopped me from being an amazing beauty blogger like some of the talented bloggers out there, and it was being able to actually apply make in way that stood out and showed a talent. So i gave it up, i didn't blog for ages after that family life was what i was all about. I slipped in to being a mum and nothing else. Then with moving down to Cornwall and the kids being that much older and Mark going off to work every day, i needed something for me. So i decided to start it all up again, but this time it incorporated my family, and our adventures. Along with things the kids enjoyed doing, so here i am.  My blog is not huge, and not well know but its that little place i can come to share things. To share my experiences, my fails as a parent

Sunday preperations

Image
Any parent will now, Sunday just seems to fly by. Before you know it it's Monday again and the chaos begins again! How i prep my Sundays to try an ease the stress ready for Monday. 1. I iron the kids uniform on Sunday evening. 2. I use to be dreadful with trying to sort the pack lunches Monday morning, so i now make them Sunday evening. 3. Shower time, instead of leaving this till last minuet i'll make sure there all clean by 6.00pm 4. Home work, if they get any we do this together on Friday evening just so we can all enjoy the weekend together. 5. Cleaning, i'll have a little tidy over the weekend if it needs doing but i will leave my big clean until Monday once the kids are at school. 6. Dinner, unless we are going out for dinner i will always make sure its cooked by 3pm just so then the evenings are not a complete rush. 7. I make sure that i have my clothes and bits ready Sunday evening as well, so i'm not the one holding everyone else up!  Th

Why we love October.

Image
How are we already in October, last time i looked we was just beginning summer. We do love October though, the leaves changing colour and falling making a crispy path way for you, the cosy evenings snuggled under a fluffy blanket. Most of all we love Halloween, this is our first Halloween in Cornwall. We are looking forward to making our house all spooky, and i think a trip to B&M is on the books for that one.  We've always loved dressing up and the kids get so excited sorting out there outfits, we are not really sure if there are any events going on around us, but we have just discovered the perfect place to go pumpkin picking which is not open for a few weeks but we can't wait to go! Another great thing we love to do as a family, spending hour's walking around the pumpkin patch finding the perfect pumpkins, playing around with the wheelbarrows. Then coming home and deciding how to carve them! I also like to do a few Halloween themed dinners for the kids

Collective Dairy Review

Image
I'm always happy to try new products, and after contacting the collective dairy who kindly sent us some coupons to use to redeem against there range we was excited to see what it was all about. A company that believes in using only the best ingredients in there products, to help deliver nothing but the finest tasting goods. With no nasty's, Veterinarian friendly, a source of protein and full with live cultures. Sounds good a'y?! Selling a wide variety of goodies, from yogurt, kids yogurts to kefir and pro-yo.  We headed of to our local Tescos, vouchers in hand ready to try these goodness pots and pouches. We redeemed our vouchers against there awesome kids range called "suckies" being a busy mum of three and a pack lunch pro ( i like to think i am ) i normally always opt for "spoon yogurts" in there lunch boxes, i try to fill there lunches with healthy food's as well as a few treats, but the "spoon yogurts" seem to spiral us in to

Parenting fails...

Image
You get them dressed, what seems to take forever along with the thousand questions. You load them in to the car, check everyone has there seat belts on, and off you go. You park up after what seems to have been the longest car journey of your life!  you look at yourself in the mirror, and think... Why the bloody hell did i think it was a good idea to bring the kids food shopping on a Saturday along with every other person in this town? How many times have i parent failed by doing this, well to be honest I've lost count! kids and food shopping do not mix well in fact kids and shopping do not go well!  i mean for start all they do is argue! then you have a slight panic attack when you can find one of them, but its ok there just playing hide and seek in among the veg!  Then a mini break down at the toy isle just because you won't by them the toy that's £80!! "how many times if your good Santa might bring you something like this for Christmas" Then the

Sharing the love..

Image
When i first saw those two little lines almost 10 years ago, a surge of worry, panic, and a bag full of emotions hit me, we had not planned to start a family, plus we had only been together a few months. I really didn't know what to do, being honest i thought this little "thing" growing inside me would be the end of what seemed to be a perfect relationship. What did i do? Well i didn't say a word, for a good week i kept it to myself, trying to work out what would be the best decision, if i could raise a child on my own. How wrong i was, after finally gathering the courage to tell my boyfriend, a weight was lifted he was over the moon. Our relationship had moved pretty fast, but you know when you just feel like you was supposed to find this other human, the right to your left well that was us. With a 13 year age gap people did talk behind our backs, " oh she's just a fling" " They won't settle down" " that relationship won

A Foodies Dream Come True...

Image
I'm a massive foodie, i always have been. From a young age cooking has always been a big part of my life, from making cupcakes to full 3 course meals. A big inspiration has always been Rick Stein, from watching him on Saturday kitchen, to asking for his cook books at Christmas. Such a joy to watch and learn from, and since the age of about 9 i decided i wanted to become a chef like my idol. It never happened and i took a different path, but still i will always be thankful to Rick for bringing out my inner chef. I had always wanted to travel down to Cornwall in hope that id actually bump in to the man himself, that's not yet happened but i'm hoping to attend a few advents now we live here. Visiting a couple of his famous restaurants, has literally been a dream come true to me, like a child at Christmas, i was finding it hard to control my excitement. Our first trip was down to Falmouth, with and idyllic setting, i couldn't pass a photo opportunity!  I

How i keep on top of it all...

Image
Running a home, and parenting three children can be a bloody hard task for anyone! Luckily for me all three of mine are now at school, so that's when i get the house back in order! Once I've finally managed to drag them out of there pits ( this does take a while ) and there eating breakfast, i'll quickly go round ad make there beds, but that as much as i will do i the morning. After there at school, I'll come home, have a hot drink and a scroll through Social media. Then get my arse in to gear, i start from bottom to top, and for me a must have is some good cleaning tunes, nothing helps more then a good old sing along while your knee deep in washing, and cleaning products! If I've got a slow cooker meal in mind for dinner that will all be chucked on before i start cleaning and tidying, as it can just be left to do it thing. I only got a slow cooker last may ( birthday present ) and I've actually really enjoyed using it and finding new recipes to
