A little hidden gem perfect for a family day out, the Otter park holds a variety of wildlife and of course the cutest family's of otters!

A family run business in North Perthwin funded purely on the income of visitors, prices are fairly priced we purchased a family ticket costing £26.50 which is 2 adults and up to 3 children. On arrival theirs a good sized car park offering plenty of room.

Greeted at the gift shop window, (excepting card which is great as a lot of us don't seem to carry cash anymore) given a map of the centre and also given the feeding times these times are also displayed around the park.

With free roaming ducks and peacocks the kids became very excited these are asian clawed otters, walking down the little slop there two otter enclosures, behind these are the prettiest looking birds.
`
There's seven different species of owl and birds or prey, wallabies, rabbits, and free roaming Muntjac deer and meerkats, chipmunks, polecats, and harvest mice.

The deer had to be our favourite part of the whole park, purchasing bags of food for 50p entering the 21 acre ground that they roam freely in filled us all with excitement, an experience none of us will forget!

I really do think its a lovely place to take children that love animals being able to hand feed the deer is such an amazing experience! i really enjoyed it as did Rosie she managed to also stroke a wallabie!

I personally think if we purchased a yearly membership we would defiantly use it a lot, the tea room is also very lovely situated in side of the gift shop, they serve hot and cold food. We had home made cake ( we love a bit of cake ) and the boys had beans and cheese on toast.

I've added a link above that will take you directly to there website, its well worth a visit if your down this way at anytime.

Below are just some of the pictures i took, there was a bird of prey talk on also and Rosie and Harry was lucky enough to be able to hold one of the beautiful barn owl.

I'm not going to ramble on but i'd highly recommend a trip here, even if your not taking any children with you ( there's also picnic areas if you want to take your own lunches )

Such an enjoyed experience we all enjoyed our day at the otter park.
